Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His stage name is a combination of the name of a beloved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013 Scott signed a joint recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including the release of a joint album, Huncho Jack Huncho that was released under the name Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was also released to critical acclaim. The album also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the number one spot in less than a decade in 2020.
